KORAZA MEMBRANA 100 PU

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Shake the product until evenly mixed.
- Do not apply the product at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
- Do not apply with risk of imminent rain or in humid environments.
- The substrate must be completely dry.
- The substrate temperature must be above 5ºC to avoid freezing and below 40ºC to avoid defects in the application.
-For maximum performance it is recommended not to dilute the product. Ready to use.

Minimum recommended consumption (allow to dry for 24 hours between coats):
1. 1st coat of 0.5 L/m2
2. Incorporate fibreglass mesh (wet, must be properly impregnated).
3. 2nd coat of 0.5 L/m2
4. 3rd coat of 0.5 L/m2 (fibreglass mesh must be completely submerged)

For warranty coverage, it is necessary to apply 1.5 L/m² and install a fibreglass mesh (check conditions).

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:
It can be in frequent but not permanent contact with water (does not re-emulsify). Resists standing water and
suitable for wet areas, but is not intended to be submerged or to protect against permanent accumulation of water. Not suitable for waterproofing water tanks or swimming pools. To ensure watertightness, the reinforcement of singular points and of the entire roof with fibreglass mesh is mandatory for greater mechanical resistance and durability.

In order to avoid stresses on the polyurethane membrane, it is necessary to reinforce active cracks, half-rounds and any other
unique element with fibreglass mesh. It must be laid with the membrane fresh, before applying the continuous coating on the rest of the surface. Do not use on substrates with rising damp.

In indoor environments, provide good ventilation and air renewal. Drying times and film curing may vary depending on humidity and ventilation.

In case of tiling or use under screed: apply 2-3 coats with a total consumption of 1.5 L/m². Do not apply more than 0.5 mm per coat (0.6-0.7 L/m²). Reinforcement with fibreglass reinforcement mesh, respecting the drying time between coats. After the application of the last layer, silica aggregate shall be applied while the membrane is still wet, with a consumption of 0.5 to 1 kg/m2 of medium-sized silica aggregate (approx. 350 microns) to ensure proper adhesion of the tiling. Wait at least 72 hours before covering with cement.

Cement mortar:
1. Wait until fully set (at least 30 days).
2. Clean the surface of any foreign substances, residues and poorly adhered product. Treat mouldy substrates with Monto Limpia Moho.
3. Use abrasive blasting to prevent efflorescence and neutralise alkaline surfaces. On very smooth surfaces, key lightly with sandpaper. Putty with Plasmont Fibra Elástico if necessary.
4. The substrate must be completely dry before preparation. The humidity value measured with a hygrometer must be less than 4%.
5. Apply Fijamont over the entire cement mortar surface to completely seal the substrate.
6. It is recommended to prime with Koraza Primer for optimum adhesion of the system and to facilitate the incorporation of the fibreglass mesh. Leave to dry for 4-6 hours.

Catalan tile or matt porous brick:
1. As for cement mortars - application of Fijamont fixative is not required.

Roofing felt, polyurethane foam, ceramic surfaces (tiles, stoneware or similar):
1. Same as on cement mortars, without the need to apply Fijamont or Koraza Primer, check adhesion. Anchor with Epoxy Primer Floors.

-Ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces such as galvanised metals or aluminium:
1. Clean the surface of any foreign substances, residues and poorly adhered product.
2. Apply MONTOPRIMER TOTAL ACQUA as a primer to ensure adhesion.
