- Stir the product until completely homogeneous.
- Apply to clean, dry surfaces.
- Sand beforehand to ensure good penetration and even coverage of the wood.
- Apply following the dilutions recommended in the Application Systems section.
- Do not apply the product at high temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.
- Maintain good ventilation during the drying time.
- Do not apply with relative humidity above 80%.
- For resinous and/or exotic oily woods, clean them first with solvent.
- Avoid surface accumulation on the wood in all cases.
2. Exterior Wood: Always Colored.
- It is highly recommended to prepare a sample to see the final color.
- The final color of wood treated with this system will require at least 2 or 3 coats of the product. - In this way, if the final result is too intense, a reduction in the percentage of colorant can be requested before preparing the colored products at COLORMONT.
- The surface must be free of foreign matter and/or residue.
- Apply to wood with a moisture content below 20%.
- Apply to sound, well-degreased, dust-free, and dry wood.
- For wood with resin stains on the interior (usually softwoods) and/or oily tropical woods, it will be necessary to clean them first with solvent.
- If the wood shows signs of aging, it must be sanded beforehand, removing all the grayed surface and removing the dust by brushing or any other mechanical means.
- For exterior applications, first protect the wood with Klearxyl Aqua 3 against fungal and wood-boring insect attacks.
